Draft weekend is a significant but not extreme price spike compared to CES or fight nights. Center-Strip hotels near the draft stage see the biggest increases. Rates are highest for Friday and Saturday nights. Hotels further from the Bellagio fountains area are less affected.
💡 Tip: Book 3-4 months ahead. North Strip hotels (like Circus Circus) are further from the draft stage on center-Strip, so prices spike less. Off-Strip options are barely affected — you can find normal rates just a mile from the Strip. The draft is free and outdoor, so you don't need to be right next to the venue.
The NFL Draft comes to Las Vegas with three days of football festivities on the Strip, including the main stage near the Bellagio fountains, fan experiences, and concerts. The event draws 300,000+ fans to the Strip and has become one of Vegas's biggest spring events since debuting there in 2022.
