Cheapest park-and-cruise packages in Baltimore

Verification pending — confirm directly with the hotel

1The situation

A park-and-cruise package bundles one night, parking for the length of the cruise, and sometimes a shuttle to South Locust Point. The maths changed in April 2026: the terminal lot went to **$25 a night**, so a week is about **$200**, and the BWI packages now win more clearly than they used to. The Clarion's park-and-fly rate starts around $114 a night and covers **up to 14 days** of parking. What to watch is the transfer — it is a paid extra almost everywhere, and the Clarion's cruise run costs $20 a room, needs booking a fortnight ahead and stops at 4pm. Compare package plus transfer against room plus $200 plus a rideshare.

2What you actually need

  1. Parking length stated in days

Most Baltimore packages cover 7 or 8 days. Norwegian and Royal Caribbean run longer itineraries from here; extra days are charged per day and should be agreed up front.

  2. Shuttle both ways, or the price of the leg that's missing

Some packages include only the outbound run. The return rideshare from the terminal to Linthicum is $25-40, which changes the comparison.

  3. Seats per room, not per booking

Packages are priced per room for two people. A family of five with six bags may need a second van slot or a paid upgrade — ask.

  4. What happens if the ship's time changes

Packages are usually prepaid. If the cruise line shifts your embarkation window, you want a hotel that moves the shuttle, not one that keeps the money.

3The shortlist4 hotels, cheapest first

Each hotel is here because it meets the requirements above — not because of its star rating. Prices are nightly rates before tax for the default dates; volatile facts (shuttles, parking terms) are stated as what to confirm, not as promises.

1.Red Roof PLUS+ Baltimore-Washington DC/BWI Airport

Red Roof PLUS+2.5-starRenovated 2014
7.9/10194

No park-and-cruise rate could be sourced under the current Red Roof PLUS+ name. Treat this as a cheap night plus the terminal lot — which at $25 a night is now dearer than it was, so do the sum. Note also that the hotel shuttle is disputed: one source states there has been no shuttle from this hotel **since 1 October 2025**, while others still list airport shuttle hours.

Parking
Free for guests; lot accessible 24/7. No cruise-length product found — confirm directly.
Shuttle
Disputed: one source says the hotel shuttle ceased on 1 October 2025; others list a free BWI/Amtrak/light-rail shuttle Mon-Fri 4am-1am and Sat 5am-midnight. No cruise-terminal shuttle found. Confirm directly and plan on a $25-40 rideshare.

4Practical logistics

The comparison
Package rate vs (room rate + about $200 terminal parking for a 7-night cruise + $50-80 in rideshares, or the hotel's paid transfer). Run it for your own dates and cruise length.
Typical package premium over the plain room
No Baltimore hotel publishes a package rate card. What is documented: the Clarion's park-and-fly starts around $114 a night including up to 14 days' parking; aggregators advertise Baltimore park-stay-and-cruise deals from about $105, and one operator quotes $119 a night including a free round-trip cruise-port shuttle and breakfast. Treat all of these as starting points and confirm directly.
Who runs packages
The Linthicum strip (Country Inn & Suites, the Clarion at 6921 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, the Wingate at 829 Elkridge Landing) and the Arundel Mills / I-95 corridor. Inner Harbor hotels don't. Be careful with older listings: several of these properties have changed brand, so a package advertised under a previous name may no longer exist on those terms.
Terminal lot alternative
**$25.00 per night** for passenger vehicles and SUVs — up from previous seasons, with the increase effective 1 April 2026 — so a 7-night cruise is about **$200**, not the $100-140 this page used to say. Recreational vehicles are $40.00 a night under 30 feet and $50.00 over. No advance reservations are required for the secured long-term lots, which are within walking distance of the terminal, and rates are payable on arrival **by credit card: VISA, MasterCard and Discover only — American Express is not listed**. Accessible parking is available on site. Confirm at cruise.maryland.gov.

Prices and schedules change. Treat figures as ranges and check before booking.

5What to avoid

  • Judging the package by its nightly rate. A $189 package beats a $119 room once a week of terminal parking and two rideshares are added.
  • Booking through an OTA and expecting the package. Park-and-cruise is a direct-booking rate code; the OTA room is just a room. Use our link to reach the hotel, then confirm the package.
  • Packages at hotels more than 15 miles from the terminal — the shuttle run gets long, and on a full-ship morning the second departure may miss your window.
  • Holiday-week sailings booked a few weeks out: package inventory is capped by lot size and sells out before plain rooms.

6Book

Use the rate links on each hotel above. If a hotel's value depends on a named package (park & cruise, shuttle), confirm the package with the hotel before you pay — packages are usually direct-booking rate codes, not OTA rooms.
