In Galveston or Port Canaveral a park-and-cruise package is a product with a name and a price. In Boston it mostly isn't. What you'll find instead is the park-stay-fly package — one night plus parking for a week or more, sold by the airport-area hotels in Revere, Chelsea and East Boston and by a few hotels along I-93 south — which works for a cruise just as well once you add a short taxi from Logan or directly to the terminal. The maths still favours the package: one night at a Seaport hotel plus seven days of cruiseport parking is $350-500 before you've eaten; a suburban room with a week of held parking is often under $200 all in. The trap is the transfer cost you didn't price.
2What you actually need
The parking length, stated in days, and whether it's free or a daily rate
Park-stay-fly packages usually cover 7-14 days; some Boston-area hotels charge a reduced daily rate instead of holding the car free. A 10-night Canada/New England cruise needs the extra days agreed up front, in writing.
How you reach Flynn Cruiseport, priced both ways
The package shuttle goes to Logan. From Logan it's a $20-30 taxi to Black Falcon Avenue or a Silver Line ride. From Quincy/Braintree with no shuttle it's a $30-60 taxi each way. Add the round trip to the package price before comparing.
Shuttle capacity for a cruise-sized group
Packages are priced per room, typically for two. A family with cruise luggage on a Saturday morning is competing with flyers for seats; ask whether you can reserve a run.
Cancellation terms, because cruise lines change embarkation times

Massport's own cruise parking
Massport's own cruise parking is **$25 a day** at the Fargo Street open-air lot (93 Fargo St) with a courtesy shuttle to the terminal, or **$189 a week** in Lot D3 for ticketed passengers. Two things the listings do not tell you: **it must be booked online before you arrive**, and it is only offered for select homeport sailings. Check Massport's cruiseport parking page for your specific ship before assuming a space.
Who offers held parking
Mostly the airport-area chains in Revere, Chelsea and East Boston (park-stay-fly) and the bigger suburban hotels in Quincy and Braintree. Seaport and downtown hotels generally don't — confirm directly with the hotel.
Typical package premium over the plain room rate
$20-60 per night for 7-8 days of parking at the airport-area hotels, where a package exists. Check before booking; the rate code is usually direct-booking only.
The port is seasonal
Flynn Cruiseport runs roughly April to November. Outside that window there are no homeport sailings from Boston, and the parking arrangements above do not operate — worth knowing before booking a room around a shoulder-season cruise.
