You are driving in from Austin, San Antonio, Louisiana or the Valley for an early flight and would rather not pay airport parking for a week on top of the drive. A park-and-fly package bundles one night, parking for a set number of days and the shuttle both ways. Houston's specific catch is that the airports' own economy parking is genuinely cheap: IAH's ecopark is about $6.47 a day uncovered, and Hobby's ecopark roughly $7-10, both with free terminal shuttles. A week is therefore $45-70, not the $150-200 a coastal cruise port would charge. That is a low bar, and not one hotel on either strip publishes its parking day count. Do the arithmetic before assuming the package wins — and note that Hobby's *terminal garage* at about $24 a day is a different story entirely.

The number of parking days actually included
Nothing on either strip publishes it. Packages typically cover 7-14 days with extra days charged per day, sometimes at a rate that erases the saving. Get the included days and the overage rate in writing when you book.
The comparison number, worked out honestly
Write down: package price versus (plain room rate + airport economy parking for your trip length). At IAH ecopark's $6.47 a day, a week is about $45. If the package saves less than $20 across the trip, choose on shuttle times and desk hours instead.
Shuttle both ways, including the day you land
The outbound is easy; the return is what goes wrong. Know how you summon the van when you land — courtesy phone, call the desk, text — and what the last run is if you land late.
Where the car actually sits
Ask whether it is the hotel's own lot, fenced and lit, or an overflow arrangement. Most hotels will tell you plainly they are not liable for the car; that is normal, but you want to know before leaving it for ten days in a Houston summer.

Which hotels offer a package
No hotel on either strip publishes park-and-fly terms — not a price, not a day count. Several advertise 'park and fly' without detail. Treat any figure on a reseller site as a starting point and confirm the day count and overage rate with the hotel directly.
Shuttles: scheduled or on request?
Every airport hotel in both clusters advertises a free shuttle, and none of them publishes its first departure. Ask whether it is a scheduled loop or an on-request van — the second depends entirely on who is on the desk at 4am — and get the time in writing for your specific date.
