The detail that matters and that most ports do not do this way: **you are charged for the number of days of the cruise, not the number of calendar days the car sits** — Port NOLA's own FAQ says "7-day cruises will be charged 7 days of parking". So a 7-night cruise is about **$175**, not the eight days you would pay at Port Canaveral or Cape Liberty. Reservations are not required but space is limited and the port recommends them.
