Cheapest park-and-cruise packages at Port Canaveral

Verification pending — confirm directly with the hotel

1The situation

A park-and-cruise (or 'snooze, park and cruise') package bundles one night, parking for the length of the cruise, and usually a shuttle to the terminal. Port Canaveral's A1A hotels practically invented the format and it is the best-value product for drive-in cruisers — but the honest maths is tighter than the marketing suggests. The right comparison is package rate against (room + about $160 of port parking for a 7-night cruise + two transfers), not against the hotel's plain nightly rate. On that comparison a package priced around $190 clearly wins; packages priced at $300 and up — which is what the Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral Hilton-family hotels are currently quoting through resellers — win only if the room night was something you were going to buy anyway. Run your own numbers and check the parking days included, because the caps are lower than people expect.

2What you actually need

  1. The package's parking length, stated in days

This is where the packages differ most and where people get caught. The Radisson's package covers cruise parking for up to four nights, which does not cover a 7-night sailing; Homewood's Park, Stay & Go is quoted at up to seven nights; Country Inn prices in bands to 5 days and to 10 days. Get the number of days in writing and the overage rate with it, and confirm both directly with the hotel.

  2. Whether parking is per car or per room, and whether a second car costs extra

Several A1A hotels price the package per car. Two families in one room with two cars is two parking fees.

  3. Whether the shuttle is both ways and what it costs if not

Some packages include the outbound run only. The return rideshare is $12-20 — not a dealbreaker, but it changes the comparison.

  4. Cancellation terms

Packages are often prepaid and non-refundable. If the cruise line changes your embarkation time — it happens — you want a hotel that will shift the shuttle, not keep the money. In hurricane season ask what happens if the sailing is delayed.

3The shortlist6 hotels, cheapest first

Each hotel is here because it meets the requirements above — not because of its star rating. Prices are nightly rates before tax for the default dates; volatile facts (shuttles, parking terms) are stated as what to confirm, not as promises.

1.Best Western Cocoa Beach - Port Canaveral

3.5 mi from Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal · 5600 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931

2.5-star

A Park & Cruise package is sold here and includes both the cruise parking and transfers to and from the terminal, which is the arrangement you want. The hotel does not publish the package price or the number of parking days anywhere we could find, so this is the one on the list you must price by phone before comparing.

2.5-star

The Snooze Park Cruise package is quoted from $300 total: one night, cruise parking for one vehicle, and transfers both ways. That is a real, published, all-in number, which makes it easy to compare — just make sure you compare it against room plus $160 of port parking rather than against the plain room rate.

Parking
Guest parking in a paved, lighted, gated lot. Cruise-length parking is bundled into the Snooze Park Cruise package rather than sold nightly; one reseller mentions a $10 per vehicle per night charge. Confirm directly with the hotel.

8.7/10140

A benchmark Cape Canaveral package hotel about a mile from the port: room, hot breakfast, and cruise parking priced in bands ($65 plus tax to 5 days, $99 plus tax for 6-10) with roundtrip transport for two included. Because the parking is priced separately rather than baked into one figure, this is the easiest package here to compare honestly against the port's $20 a day.

Parking
Free for guests overnight. Cruise-length parking is a paid extra: $65 plus tax up to 5 days, $99 plus tax for 6-10 days, subject to availability. Confirm directly with the hotel.

5 mi from Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal · 3425 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931

2.5-star

Pre-cruise packages are sold here, but priced at the Hilton end of the market — the comparable Cape Canaveral Hampton is quoted from $349 through resellers. Compare against the port garage for your own cruise length before assuming a package wins, and note the longer shuttle run from Cocoa Beach.

Parking
Free for guests overnight. Cruise-length parking about $12-15 per night plus tax. Confirm directly with the hotel.
Shuttle
Terminal shuttle for a surcharge, about $12 per person each way; otherwise plan on a $18-30 rideshare. Confirm directly with the hotel.

5.Radisson Resort at the Port

1 mi from Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal · 8701 Astronaut Blvd, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920

3-star
8.1/10205

The original Port Canaveral package hotel. Only book it as the package; as a plain room the age of the property and the $12-a-night parking make it poor value. Read the parking cap carefully — the package version covers up to four nights of cruise parking for one vehicle per room, with extra vehicles about $12.95 plus tax a day and extra shuttle passengers about $13.80 each.

Parking
Self-parking about $12 plus 7% tax per night — not free. Cruise parking about $12.95 plus 7% tax per day, including the shuttle for up to four people. Confirm directly with the hotel.
Shuttle
Hotel-run terminal shuttle, about $6 per person, or included with cruise parking for up to four. Scheduled and reserved — confirm times directly with the hotel.

6.Residence Inn by Marriott Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach

1 mi from Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal · 8959 Astronaut Blvd, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920

3-star

Sells discounted long-term cruise parking rather than a single bundled package price: one reseller quotes three weeks of parking included with a cruise stay and about $10 a day beyond that, which is more generous than anything else on this list and worth confirming directly before you rely on it. The shuttle is separate at about $12 per person each way.

4Practical logistics

The comparison
Package rate vs (room rate + about $160 plus tax of port parking for a 7-night cruise + two transfers). Run it for your own dates and cruise length. For a 3- or 4-night sailing the port garage often wins outright, because the package price barely moves while the parking you avoid halves.
Typical package premium over the plain room rate
Sourced package prices through Go Port: Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cocoa Beach from $300, Homewood Suites Cape Canaveral from $349, each covering one night plus cruise parking for one vehicle plus terminal transfers. Booked direct, Country Inn & Suites prices the parking separately at $65 plus tax up to 5 days or $99 plus tax for 6-10 days with roundtrip transport for two included. Cheaper packages exist further out — Titusville and Motel 6 Cocoa Beach start around $131-$207 — at the cost of a longer transfer. Confirm current prices before booking.
Port parking alternative
$20.00 per day plus tax at every cruise terminal, and the rate counts both the day you arrive and the day you come back — so a 7-night cruise is 8 chargeable days, about $160 before tax. The rate rose from $17 on 1 October 2025, the first increase since 2017. Garages serve Terminals 6, 8 and 10; Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5 use surface lots. Payment is on arrival by credit card only, no cash, and the port takes no reservations. Confirm current rates with the port before you travel.
Who runs packages
On the Astronaut Boulevard cluster in Cape Canaveral: Country Inn & Suites, the Radisson Resort, Homewood Suites and the Residence Inn. In north Cocoa Beach: Holiday Inn Express & Suites, the Best Western and the Hampton Inn, with the Courtyard selling cruise parking at a daily rate rather than a package. The La Quinta Oceanfront by the pier does not appear to sell one. Beachfront resorts and south Cocoa Beach motels generally don't either. Confirm directly — these come and go by season.

Prices and schedules change. Treat figures as ranges and check before booking.

5What to avoid

  • Judging the package by the nightly rate alone. A $190 package beats a $120 room once parking and transfers are added.
  • Booking through an OTA and assuming the package is included. Park-and-cruise rates are direct-booking codes; use our link to reach the hotel, then confirm the package.
  • Peak-week bookings (spring break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Disney's busiest weeks) made less than a month out — packages sell out before plain rooms do.
  • Leaving the car in a package hotel's lot longer than the stated days without paying the extension.

6Book

Use the rate links on each hotel above. If a hotel's value depends on a named package (park & cruise, shuttle), confirm the package with the hotel before you pay — packages are usually direct-booking rate codes, not OTA rooms.
