1The situation
A park-and-cruise package bundles one night, parking for the cruise length and usually a terminal transfer. In Seattle it is almost exclusively an airport-hotel product: the SeaTac chains have the surface lots, the downtown hotels don't. The maths is clear. A downtown room in July is $200+, parking is $40-60 a night and not cruise-length; the port's own Pier 91 economy zone is about $187 for seven days and Pier 66 is $30 a day plus tax; and the DoubleTree's Park, Stay and Go covers seven nights' parking for around $100. What decides it is the transfer, which is a third-party shared shuttle rather than a hotel van, and which stops running around midday.
2What you actually need
The pier the package shuttle serves, in writing
This is the Seattle-specific trap. A package that shuttles to Pier 91 is no use for a Norwegian sailing from Pier 66, and vice versa. Some hotels serve both, some one, some only on certain days. Confirm against your cruise documents before you pay.
The parking length, stated in days
Most packages cover 7 or 8 days. Many Alaska itineraries are 7 nights, but 10-14 night sailings exist and need an add-on at a daily rate. Get it in writing.
Shuttle timing and the return leg
The airport-to-pier run is 30-60 minutes in I-5 traffic, so the departure time matters more than at a port where the hotel is 5 minutes away. Confirm whether the return pickup is included and where at the pier it collects.
Seasonality and cancellation terms
Packages are seasonal (roughly May to September) and often prepaid. If the cruise line changes your embarkation time, you want a hotel that will move your shuttle slot, not keep the money. Read the terms.
3The shortlist4 hotels, cheapest first
Each hotel is here because it meets the requirements above — not because of its star rating. Prices are nightly rates before tax for the default dates; volatile facts (shuttles, parking terms) are stated as what to confirm, not as promises.

Hampton Inn3-starRenovated 2016
8.3/1061
A benchmark SeaTac package candidate, but note what is and isn't included: the transfer is Seattle Express, booked separately, and the parking day count is unpublished. Compare the total against a downtown room plus about $187 at Pier 91. Careful with reviews — there is a second, different Hampton on 28th Ave that has no on-site parking at all.

A big cruise-group hotel with the lot to back it, and the only Seattle package with a published-enough number to compare: about $100 for seven nights' parking. Breakfast is not included at this kind of full-service Hilton. The pier transfer is Seattle Express, booked separately — this hotel is a listed cruise partner.

Package rate vs (downtown room + about $187-329 at Pier 91 or $30/day plus tax at Pier 66 + $30-60 in rideshares, or the shared-shuttle fare for your whole party). Run it for your own dates; in peak summer the package usually wins, but check the transfer times before you commit.
Typical package premium over the plain airport room rate
No Seattle hotel publishes a package rate card. The one documented figure is the DoubleTree's Park, Stay and Go, which works out at roughly **$14 a night over seven nights — about $100** for the week's parking. Confirm current terms directly, and note that packages are seasonal alongside the May-September Alaska schedule.
Port parking alternative
The two piers are priced and run differently. **Pier 91 (Smith Cove)** sells by the cruise length through seattleportparking.com: roughly **$187 economy, $220 standard and $329 premium for a seven-day sailing**, or from about **$27 a day**, and the price includes service fees, taxes, a free shuttle to your ship and luggage assistance. RV/overheight and wheelchair-transport zones are available, and it is reservable online. **Pier 66 (Bell Street)** is run by Republic Parking at **$30 a day plus tax**, bookable online or on 206-443-1793. So a week is roughly $187-$329 at Pier 91 and about $240 plus tax at Pier 66 — book the pier your ship actually uses, and confirm current rates before you travel.
Who runs packages
The SeaTac chains on International Boulevard — the Hampton Inn, the DoubleTree and the Coast Gateway are all listed as Seattle Express cruise partner hotels, which is how their pier transfer works. Belltown and waterfront hotels don't run packages; a few Queen Anne and Seattle Center hotels have their own lots and may sell cruise-length parking at a daily rate, which is worth asking about — the Executive Inn on Taylor Ave charges about $15 a night for ordinary guest parking.
Prices and schedules change. Treat figures as ranges and check before booking.
5What to avoid
⚠️Judging the package by the nightly rate alone. A $180 airport package beats a $200 downtown room once parking and transfers are added — by hundreds.
⚠️Booking through an OTA and assuming the package is included. Park-and-cruise packages are direct-booking rate codes; the OTA room is just a room. Use our link to reach the hotel, then confirm the package.
⚠️Not confirming the pier. A package with the wrong terminal shuttle means a $45-70 rideshare on top, which erases much of the saving.
⚠️Leaving the car beyond the stated days without paying the extension, or booking a package outside the cruise season and expecting the shuttle to run.
6Book
Use the rate links on each hotel above. If a hotel's value depends on a named package (park & cruise, shuttle), confirm the package with the hotel before you pay — packages are usually direct-booking rate codes, not OTA rooms.
